At the end of March, the Michael Reynolds Academy in Mar Chiquita will have built a large part of the building of the first 100% sustainable public school in Argentina and more than 100 people from Argentina and the rest of the world will have been trained in the Earthship construction method. But in addition, we are going to hold two intensive workshops on the construction method to complete the building, April 2 to 7 and April 9 to 14.

These instances are presented by Earthship Biotecture. In different daily modules, of theoretical and practical modality, we will systematize the content provided in the month of the Academy and we will be in charge of the completions and final revision of the systems of the Earthship.

• History of Earthship, of A Sustainable School project, visit to the building and explanation of sustainability principles
• Methodologies and construction techniques
• Construction and work stages (9 steps)
• Natural and Recycled Materials
• Food production
• Water treatment and reuse system
• Efficient thermal conditioning
• Renewable energy systems
• Biodigesters
• Project management
• Plans and permits
• Approach to Communities
• During the practical part of the workshop we will be working on the pending completion of the work, these may be:
• In energy systems.
• Water treatment
• The completions of the work, plaster, flooring (oxidation).
• Compaction of roofs and leveling in the embankment
